We’re looking for three Venture Investment Managers to steer our venture-building portfolio—translating market insights into bold investment proposals and driving sustainable value creation. Each position focuses on a different area of domain expertise:
- Manufacturing/Production
- Health
- Industry & Energy

Your Responsibilities
- Investment Leadership: Lead the full investment lifecycle—from opportunity identification and due diligence to term sheet negotiation and closing.
- Investment Thesis Development: Continuously refine and evolve investment theses to guide venture-building activities and identify future growth opportunities.
- Portfolio Stewardship: Oversee and actively manage our venture portfolio, ensuring strong strategic alignment and maximizing long-term value creation across multiple ventures.
- Venture Governance: Monitor venture performance at portfolio level, focusing on key milestones, value inflection points, and strategic fit.
- Strategic Advisory: Act as a key advisor in investment committees and on venture boards, providing high-level guidance and ensuring alignment with Bosch’s strategic goals.
- Competitive Advantage Enablement: Ensure the effective use of Bosch’s unique assets (IP, market access, capabilities) to strengthen the competitive positioning of portfolio ventures.
- Ecosystem Engagement: Build and maintain a strong network within the venture capital and startup ecosystem to unlock deal flow, partnerships, and co-investment opportunities.
- Stakeholder Empowerment: Align internal stakeholders, championing the venture-building and investing approach across the organization.
Qualifications
- Academic Background: Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Business, Finance, Engineering, Science, or related field.
- Proven Experience: Strong track record in venture capital, corporate venturing capital, venture building, hands-on investment experience.
- Strategic Investor Mindset: Ability to assess markets, technologies, teams, and financials while identifying and shaping high-potential ventures.
- Domain Expertise: Deep industry knowledge, relevant professional experience, and a strong network in at least one of the following domains: Manufacturing/Production, Health, or Industry & Energy.
- Deal-Making Expertise: Experienced in structuring, negotiating, and closing investments in dynamic and ambiguous environments.
- Influential Communicator: Confident in engaging senior stakeholders, navigating complex organizations, and representing interests at board and committee level.
- Exceptional Storyteller: Skilled in translating complex ideas into compelling investment cases, memos, and pitches.
- Entrepreneurial Drive: Opportunity-oriented, analytical, and decisive with a strong bias toward action.
- Relationship Builder: Strong interpersonal skills to build trust with founders, investors, and internal partners.
- Language: Business fluency in English required; German proficiency is a plus.
Additional Information The role is based in Ludwigsburg or Berlin, Germany. Regular national and international travel is expected. Curious?
