About the role
We’re looking for an experienced Senior Financial Planner to join our team of industry leading wealth advisors, reporting directly to the General Manager of Financial Planning. This individual will be responsible for crafting financial plans for members and continuing to support them through our asynchronous messaging platform. Members are not assigned to one planner, instead they get access to the whole team so that planners can collaborate and dive into their subject expertise based on the specific questions members are asking.
But we’re looking for more than just a great advisor - you’ll be a key component of helping to reinvent the wealth management space through tech. From collecting financial information, to evaluations and projections, to custom plan delivery, this person will partner with our product team to loan their expertise and provide feedback as we continue to build out our suite of proprietary tools.
This role is based at Range's Headquarters in McLean, VA or one of our hubs in New York City, or Bellevue. Employees hired for this position will work in office Monday-Friday. If you are not already located in one of these areas, your willingness to relocate will be a contingency for employment.

Compensation
Base salary range: $130,000 - $230,000
This is the base salary range we expect in good faith to pay for this role at the time of posting. Where an offer lands within the range depends on the scope and complexity of work the candidate can own independently and demonstrated depth at this level.
Other compensation and benefits
The range above reflects base salary only. Our offer packages also include equity in the form of stock options, so total compensation for this role will exceed the base salary range.
