Westview International Language School is Hiring!
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker to join our team. Position: Social Worker Key Responsibilities:
- Provide social, emotional, and behavioral support to students.
- Identify students who require additional support and follow up on their cases.
- Maintain accurate and confidential student records and case documentation.
- Work closely with students, parents, teachers, and the Inclusion Team.
- Support students with social, family, behavioral, and adjustment-related challenges.
- Monitor students’ progress and provide appropriate interventions and follow-up.
- Support safeguarding and student well-being initiatives.
- Refer cases to specialized professionals when necessary.
- Ensure confidentiality and compliance with school policies and procedures.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, or a related field.
- Previous experience as a Social Worker, preferably in a school or educational setting.
- Good understanding of child and adolescent development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong case management, follow-up, and documentation skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters professionally.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
- Patient, empathetic, and approachable personality.
- Good command of English, written and spoken.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Knowledge of child safeguarding and protection procedures is an advantage
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or relevant field.
- Teaching certification
- Experience teaching English to elementary-level students is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to foster a nurturing and effective learning atmosphere.
- Good organizational skills and adaptability.
